Newark’s actions surpass the latest EPA guidelines

The Mayor of the City of Newark, Ras J. Baraka, announces that the City’s lead pipe replacement program and other actions to reduce lead in the City’s drinking water exceed the EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule, which was recently updated after 30 years.
